Side Notes: The Friends of the Gainesville Organic Blueberry Farm is a volunteer group dedicated to keeping the farm a farm by maintaining some of the blueberry bushes. And the Edible Plant Project is another nonprofit volunteer group residing at the greenhouse at the farm which is dedicated to producing and selling affordable food plants adapted to our area. Both groups are working in cooperation with the owners to increase production at the farm using organic methods.

Wellborn Farms is a family run Agri-Business specializing in seasonal fruit crops. In addition to attending local Farmers Markets we offer U-Pick Blueberries and Persimmons. We are planting Strawberries, Muscadine Grapes, Pears, and Blackberries to have fruit throughout the season.
